Fort Collins- The Larimer County Coroner’s Office released the names of the two men who died in separate crashes Wednesday.
Douglas R. Brower was killed in the crash at U.S. Highway 287 and Overland Trail.
Jacob Duncan was the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Larimer County Road 23.
Two Fort Collins men are dead after separate crashes two hours apart Wednesday.
The first crash happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 287 and North Overland Trail.
According to Colorado State Patrol, an Isuzu box truck was on U.S. 287 making a left turn onto North Overland Trail when a bottom-dump semi-truck collided with the right side of the Isuzu. A 29-year-old unrestrained passenger from Fort Collins in the Isuzu was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the Isuzu, a 22-year-old male from Wellington, and the semi driver, a 29-year-old male from Fort Collins, were transported to Poudre Valley Hospital with serious injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.
